Keep the Dream Alive

He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.

Waking up every day, getting out of bed, and not having a why can beat the crap out of you. It´s depressing with no directions towards anything. Worse is having that dream inside of you and not letting it grow.

When you expose yourself to this world you get to know yourself. Your likes and dislikes, your virtues, yourself. Along the way, you start to get to know your dream. You analyze what this world has to offer and then you start building your dream.

“I have a dream. I know what I love to do. This is my dream.” You get to this point and then your dream, this passion of yours stops. You stop working for it because “What are others going to think of me…”.

Everyone knows this quote “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. Why can´t we make it about your dream? About that passion of yours that made you the happiest person alive on this planet. Why when life gives you dreams, you stop believing?

I have already been in this state of mind. In this position of having a dream and not letting it grow. What I realize was it is not worth it. It is not worth it not doing what you love because of things you can´t control. I started thinking to myself. If I think that way I can no longer cross the road because I can´t control the human that is on the wheel. I can no longer leave my house because I can´t control others. That's obnoxious!

Having a dream is the best you can have in life. You are working for something you love to do. You are happy. Not letting it grow because of what others will think it´s not an option. If it is, this isn´t your dream. A dream is something that you work for with pride and will. So don´t be intimidated by the rest of the world and what others may think about you. Enjoy the process and keep the dream alive!
